About Google Cache Checker

About the Google Cache Checker tool!

Every now and then, an SEO gets a 404 page. It might be their own page, or it could be another website. When this happens, it's usually a good idea to check Google cache. You see, Google keeps a copy of most pages in its cache for around 1-3 days. This means that you can view the page as it looked back then. They even let you manipulate the pages as if you were searching for them as if you were there at that time, or looking at the website at that time. You can view what the page looked like when it was indexed on Google and view past versions of the page. If you have your own site, it is a good idea to make sure everything is search engine friendly and working correctly, however if that is not possible, it is also important to check other people's sites to make sure they are set up correctly too when they are working with clients.
